Quite a short (and a little late) update. I have been working on figuring out my network analysis. As a learn how to make Nodes and Edges in a spreadsheet and then load it into Gephi, I am realizing I do know what I am doing. Kind of. This project has reminded me that not all of this DH stuff will be easy and that is ok. I am at the point in my education and my life that I want to learn, and that may take longer than I expect.
As for the document side of the project, I feel that it will come more with time. I am a little less concerned about this at the current moment because I am attempting to write an article about this topic as well. This means that the research and legal documentation will come along easily as the written work develops.
Website design (or making it look nicer) I plan on pushing toward the end. I will be keeping track of what bugs I find along the way, but I don’t want to spend all my time trying to make them work now and lack major important themes of the site. The movies, legal documents, and the network are the biggest parts of this site and if one of those is lacking, it will take away from the work.
