Emily Meyers

A Digital History Portfolio

About

About Me and My Projects

Hi! I am Emily Meyers. After deciding that criminal justice was not the job for me, I found myself leaning more into my hobby of historical work and archiving. With various types of internships under my belt, I feel confident in saying that museums are where I found my passion. This space is where I attempt to define what Digital Humanities is and how I can use it in Public History!

I am a Graduate from George Mason University. I received my MA in Early Modern English history with a Graduate Certificate in Digital History. I have worked on the project Death By Numbers where you can see blogs from me and the team on various topics about the Bills of Morality. I received my BA in Political Science and History from Keuka College in New York. This is where I also received an amazing minor in American Sign Language (ASL). If you ever have questions about that, just ask.

Last note: Every post I make is reviewed by Yoast SEO for accessibility and readability. It is based on the Flesch Reading score for the best reading ease possible. If you want to learn how to add the plugin, let me know.
